Salary Range $52,000 - $58,000 based on experience

Community Based Services Human Resources department is currently seeking an HR Specialist with Onboarding experience. The HR Specialist will work closely with HR Team and Program Directors to provide support onboarding new hires and maintenance of current staff records.

Responsibilities:

  • Process Background Checks
  • Track Onboarding in “New Hire Tracker” & track all steps of the onboarding process
  • Complete Hiring Process
  • Process all Employee Status changes in Beyond Pay & Track in “Personnel Notice Tracker” & track all
  • personnel changes
  • Process staff Increases, Suspensions and Suspension Notifications, Terminations, Bonuses
  • Track Performance Evaluations
  • Create a Weekly Status Report of all Pending Hires
  • Update and Process staffing Update w/ New Hires, Transfers, & Terminations with HR Recruiter
  • Submit HR Invoices
  • Complete Employment Verification requests
  • Update employee profile changes
  • Process Motor Vehicle Records and annually request updated Personal Vehicle Drivers’ Insurance & Registration Documentation
  • Supervise and coordinate personnel filing tasks for the HR clerks

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years Human Resources Onboarding experience in OPWDD or other related fields
  • Strong presentation skills and customer service experience
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite and ATS software and other platforms
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

  • North Salem, NY 10560: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
