Job Description |
The Administrative Assistant III provides clerical support to the Ronald McNair Scholars Program and performs the following duties:
Maintains rosters, documents of activities, and assists with maintaining the budget and records. Complies, composes, completes and disseminates information. Submits requisitions for purchase and travel. Submits personal action request forms, and various university documents for the success of the program budget. Prepares meeting agendas, attends meetings, keeps records, and prepares drafts of meetings for administrative review. Maintains office filing system. Provides proper information directing visitors appropriately. Assists with assembling data for reports and distribution. Maintains schedules and develops itineraries. Perform other related duties as assigned. |
Minimum Qualifications |
Graduation from high school or equivalent, including or supplemented by general secretarial courses. Must have a minimum of two (2) years of secretarial experience. Knowledge of business English and arithmetic; modern office practices, procedures and equipment; and organizational rules, regulations, procedures and functions. Ability to compose a variety or memoranda or letters with minimal instructions. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook .
