About us

Volunteers in Medical Missions is a small faith-based nonprofit organization in Seneca, SC. We are professional, passionate, engaging, and collaborative. Our network of compassionate, faith-driven medical professionals and other volunteers are dedicated to addressing the global healthcare crisis through short-term medical mission trips. We offer free physical and spiritual care to our sick and hurting brothers and sisters across the world.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Director to lead our organization. As the Executive Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations and driving strategic initiatives to achieve organizational goals. This is a senior leadership position that requires strong leadership skills, business acumen, and the ability to effectively manage teams and resources.

Responsibilities:

- Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to the organization

- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and achieve organizational objectives

- Lead and manage all operational activities, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of programs and services

- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including board members, staff, donors, and community partners

- Oversee financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation

- Lead business development efforts to secure funding and partnerships

- Foster a positive organizational culture that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and innovation

- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards

- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency

Requirements:

- Of the Christian faith

- Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably as an Executive Director or similar position

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills

- Demonstrated experience in project management and operations management

- Strategic thinking with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans

- Proven track record in business development and fundraising

- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's degree preferred)

Note: This is a paid position. Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,634.00 - $72,629.00 per year
