Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is seeking a part-time Philosophy instructor. A part-time, or adjunct, faculty member is employed to provide direct instruction in either a classroom, lab, clinical, or distance education setting on a semester contract basis. The primary responsibility of part-time faculty is to provide quality instruction to students. Adjunct instructors are provided a contract for a single term only. Each contract ends at the end of the term, and a new contract will be provided if the adjunct faculty is hired for another term. An adjunct faculty member is under the management of the Program/Division Chair and supervised by the Academic Dean.
Required Education/Experience:
A Master’s Degree in Philosophy or related field with at least 18 graduate hours in PHI prefix courses.

This faculty member will be on contract to teach either, or possibly both, face to face as well as online sections of Introduction to Ethics.
