Assistant Professor of Accounting
Job Description
Eureka College values excellent teaching at the college level that employs a variety of methods to enable all learners in the classroom. We seek professors who can be interdisciplinary and generalist in approach while still engaged with their specific discipline. Professors are expected to serve on departmental and college committees, teach 12 hours per semester, and to continue professional activity and/or scholarly research.
Position Requirements
Applicants must have an advanced degree, either an MS, PhD, or DBA in Accounting; CPA certification would be a plus, as would be teaching experience. Candidates who could support agricultural accounting, risk management or sustainability curricula are especially desired. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with education and experience. Desired are candidates who share a commitment to a liberal arts education and can demonstrate the potential for excellence in teaching, service, and scholarship.
