The Director of TMH Foundation is responsible for:
- Provides strategic leadership to the Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) Foundation (TMHF) subject to the direction of the Chief Advancement Officer/VP (CAO/VP).
- Demonstrates integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence (I CARE values).
- Communicates information timely via appropriate channels.
- Displays an understanding of diversity.
- Manages departmental budget.
- Meet goals/expectations established over the previous year.
- Manages human resources.
- Meets or exceeds all The Joint Commission (TJC) requirements.
- Solves problems; recommends sound solutions.
- Enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues, visitors, and patients.
- Determines staffing needs (in collaboration with the CAO/VP); hires, manages and coordinates employees’ and/or contractors’ activities.
- Assists the CAO/VP with developing annual goals and objectives for each TMHF service line, prospective major donors, fundraising opportunities (i.e., campaigns, special events, and individual initiatives) and strategic plan associated performance benchmarks.
- Supports coordinating TMHF’s activities with the TMH’s mission and strategic plan.
- Partners with Finance and General Accounting taff members to sustain efficient, effective, transparent financial tracking and reporting processes.
- Manages TMHF’s communications; ensures consistent messaging and branding in print and online donor communication vehicles.
- Performs miscellaneous duties not expressly described herein.

Supervises:
TMHF/Communications StrategistWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY:
Education:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, non-profit management, marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, English, or a closely related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
- Five (5) years of direct executive experience in charitable fund raising and/or hospital marketing, public relations, and/or brand development.
