Job Description:
SUNY Broome Community College is seeking candidates for part-time adjunct needed to teach a variety of Computer Science courses within the Computer Science (CST) department. Courses include Computer Applications and Problem Solving and Communication Tools. Additional courses require expertise in C++, Visual Basic and Java programming.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an appropriate field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
Three (3) years of teaching experience and/or a combination of teaching and programming is preferred.
Applicants should be comfortable in the learner-centered classroom and have a strong commitment to the community college mission.
Additional Information:
Offers of employment will be conditional based upon the results of a satisfactory, required pre-employment Standard Background Check.
