The postdoctoral researcher will create simulation and mathematical models of electromagnetics scenarios to be integrated with educational platforms.

- Candidate will design discrete and integrated circuit power electronic circuits including DC-DC converters with powers >> 100W.
- Candidate will layout and perform parasitic analysis DC-DC converters.
- Candidate will design and fabricate test platforms for DC-DC converters to obtain experimental results
- Candidate will test and analyze test data for the experimental results of DC-DC converters.
- Candidate will prepare reports to sponsors.
- Candidate will prepare and submit academic conference and journal papers based on test results.
- Will mentor students and researchers.
Work Schedule
Monday to FridayDepartment Required Skills
- Proficient in integrated circuit design, including AWR, ADS and optionally Cadence software.
- Knowledge of EM software such as HFSS at plus.
- Proficient in matlab and/or Python.
- Proficient in PCB design and layout
- Must have experience in designing discrete integrated circuits using GaN technology.
- Must have experience designing test fixtures for microwave circuits above 2.4 GHz.
- Must have experience using a microwave test equipment, such as a vector network analyzer.
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education
- Must have PhD in electrical engineering. Additional years in a research position post PhD is a plus.
- Must have published at least one IEEE journal paper in RF circuits and systems.
