Director of Professional Resources & Relations (Radiologic Technologist)

The American Society of Radiologic Technologists is seeking an experienced radiologic technologist to lead a variety of professional relations and practice-related actives, including affiliate relations, chapter relations, member inquiries and practice-related committees. Advanced organizational abilities, attention to detail, effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Leads aspects of ASRT professional resources and relations to ensure efficiency, accuracy and timeliness in all activities.
  • Manages and provides oversight of the activities of the ASRT Practice Standards Council and associated subcommittees to ensure completion of its charges.
  • Participates as the main point of contact for practice standards questions for staff, members and other parties.
  • Works in partnership with the Government Relations Department to coordinate the alignment of the practice standards with state and federal statutes and regulations.
  • Works in partnership with the Governance Department to ensure alignment of programs, projects and initiatives with articles of incorporation, bylaws, governance related affiliate and chapter activities.

 

Successful Candidates Must Meet the Following Criteria:

  • Minimum associate degree in radiologic technology or radiation therapy.
  • Bachelor's degree up to master’s degree in management, organizational leadership, education or related field.
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in the radiologic technology field.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography certification in a minimum of one discipline.
  • Current ASRT member.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
