Description: Administrative Assistant III, Student Services, Full Time
Reports To: Vice President for Student Services
Salary Range: Min. $22.22 per hour based on qualifications and experience; excellent benefits package included
Position Summary: Primarily responsible for the office management and administrative functions required to effectively implement policies and procedures and day-to-day operations relative to the Division of Student Services. Support the Vice President with the coordination of various aspects of the following annual Student Services sponsored events: Commencement, Academic Awards Ceremony, Etiquette Dinner, and Job Fair. Support the Vice President with basic management tasks such as: compiling budget reports, recording and processing leave requests and overload payments, processing travel forms, entering requisitions, preparing meeting agendas, and recording meeting minutes. Perform complex office management functions in a confidential setting, including but not limited to: compiling accurate records of Title IX interviews, student disciplinary hearings, and channeling sensitive interactions with students and community stakeholders to the proper individuals.
Qualifications: Associate's Degree in Business Technology, other related field, OR equivalent professional office management experience; strong technical skills, including experience working with Microsoft Office; strong organizational and oral/written communication skills; excellent spelling, grammar, attention to detail, troubleshooting, and proofreading skills required. Bachelor’s Degree; experience working with an ERP system (Ellucian Collegue); previous higher educational institution working experience; and event coordination/management experience preferred.
