We are looking for a Light Industrial Sales Representative to join our team on our journey for a better tomorrow.
Your role
Your mission as Light Industrial Sales Representative is to exercise primary control over all customer-related activities and problems within the assigned area. You will support other factory-functional areas to complete assigned sales and marketing goals. You will manage the direct selling activities of specific Quincy products located in the assigned geographical territory. You will perform all assigned tasks to ensure that individual and company goals are achieved in respect to maximum sales volume and profitability. You will report to and support the Regional Sales Manager.
- You will prospect new and drifted accounts to generate revenue.
- You will design and layout compressed air solutions, focus will be on 125 HP and below systems.
- You will develop a dealer network to help grow equipment market share.
- You will develop relationships with key accounts in assigned territory.
- You will prepare quotes for Fixed Price Services, Service Plans, and other services.
- You will track customer calls and provide reports accordingly using CRM tool as directed.
- You will effectively manage quote log and follow up as needed.
- You will audit compressed air systems and present results.
- You will work with local utility companies to process rebates for energy savings.
- You will increase rapport with customer via effective troubleshooting of current system.
- You will develop understanding of competitive landscape in compressor market.
- You will stay current with developments in all Quincy products and offerings.
- You will provide training to customers.
- You will achieve sales goals in sales territory.
To succeed, you need
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or Management considered with supplemental technical training or experience.
- You have 1 to 3 years of compressor industry experience (preferred).
- You have a general knowledge of industrial products including compressed air products and markets, including but not limited to air compressors, vacuum pumps and air treatment.
- You have the ability to create and manage marketing plans and strategies.
- You have exceptional communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter.
- You are able to travel frequently by air travel to attend trainings and sales meetings.
- You are extremely proficient in Excel, CRM, search engines, and database management.

- We offer potential earnings of $150,000 (base salary of $60,000 - $92,030 gross per year based on knowledge and experience, plus car allowance and commission).
