Program Specialist 3 - Outreach CoordinatorSalary: $56,880 - $76,608*Classification: Program Specialist 3Reports to: Dean of Manufacturing & TradesThis position serves as the outreach coordinator for the division and is responsible for organizing and implementing division outreach efforts to support the recruitment and retention of division students.

 
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Work with students, faculty, staff, and community stakeholders to define needs, plan, design, and develop specialized outreach activities. Plan and coordinate division events, workshops, and presentations to engage students, faculty, and community members, to promote division offerings. Maintain advising notes for all contacts and track students through the program of study helping with referrals as needed to support enrollment.Assist higher-level staff in the preparation of complex comprehensive plan summaries, recommendations, progress, or special reports.Develop and implement comprehensive outreach plans to promote the programs and initiatives of the division to diverse audiences, including students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders. Collaborate with faculty and staff within the division to identify outreach goals and objectives aligned with the division's strategic priorities. Track and evaluate the success of outreach initiatives, collecting and analyzing data to measure the impact of activities and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.Promote excellent customer service, cultivate, and maintain relationships with divisions, units across campus, and community and industry partners to establish collaborative opportunities that expand the division’s reach.Conduct research and analyze data to identify student and program needs and support continued program participation.Provide personalized referrals to student support services as needed and maintain advising notes for all student contacts. Provide basic academic support to students regarding course sequencing, program options, and prerequisite requirements. Other duties as assigned.

 
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
 
Terms of Employment
This is a full-time classified position scheduled to work 40 hours a week, with a salary range of $56,880 - $76,608** All classified positions will start their salary at Step A, when you have completed six months of probation, you will receive a 5 percent pay increase. A collective bargaining agreement exists, and this position is covered by the Washington Public Employees Associate (WPEA) Union.

Conditions of Employment
