Summary of Position

This position plays a crucial role in coordinating various projects essential to the smooth operation and compliance of our academic programs. The primary focus areas are at-risk student monitoring, coordination with E3 team for state authorization compliance, and project coordination within the Center for Academic Engagement and Assessment at the UNH College of Professional Studies – Online.

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in a higher education setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of student success initiatives, including at-risk student interventions and retention strategies.
  • Familiarity with state authorization regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

Duty/Responsibility

At-Risk Student Monitoring:
  • Develop and implement strategies for identifying at-risk students through data analysis and student performance indicators.
  • Coordinate interventions and support services to improve retention and academic success rates among at-risk students.
  • Assist the Director of Student Academic Support in the implementation of synchronous tutoring and course-embedded online peer academic support.
  • Collaborate with academic advisors, faculty, and academic support staff to provide holistic support to students facing academic challenges.
  • Review student participation data for reporting to student accounts, veteran’s services, and financial aid as needed and in compliance with college policy.
  • Coordinate with financial aid office on the start of term non-participation review process.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of intervention programs and recommend improvements as needed.

Duty/Responsibility

State Authorization Compliance:
  • Maintain current knowledge of state authorization regulations and requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for CSPO faculty/staff inquiries related to state authorization and compliance.
  • Collaborate with UNH E3 team to address compliance issues and implement solutions.

Project Coordination:
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate project teams and facilitate communication among stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
