We are seeking a staff member to add to our team of amazing people making a positive impact in communities across all of Idaho. This position will be based in the North region, as defined by ICF. Individuals will be provided equipment and support allowing them to maintain a remote workplace from within the defined region. The ideal candidate will be seeking an opportunity to become part of a community of caretakers across Idaho who recognize that Idaho is a special place and that we need to take care of our communities and neighbors.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position assists in the development and implementation of an annual work plan to identify, cultivate and solicit potential donors and fund holders within our North Idaho region (Benewah, Bonner, Boundary, Clearwater, Idaho, Kootenai, Latah, Lewis, Nez Perce, and Shoshone counties) and reports to the Vice President, Advancement.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree
- Three to five years of related nonprofit experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provide active leadership and participation in the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors and fund holders for ICF and its programs/initiatives.
- Implement development tactics for raising support from individuals, nonprofit organizations, corporations and foundations in the region. Activities will include, but are not limited to, written and personal solicitations and educational presentations to individuals and groups about ICF.
- Manage and assist with ICF’s stewardship plan for ICF fund holders, donors and Legacy Society members in the region.
- Establish relationships with professional advisors and financial institutions in the region to raise awareness of ICF and secure major and planned gifts.
- Implement ICF’s Legacy Society fundraising initiatives in the region.
- Represent ICF at community and ICF-sponsored events.
- Create and maintain potential and current donor records in AkoyaGO database.
- Work with management to prepare materials and dashboard reports for quarterly board meetings. Participate in board meetings as requested.
- Assist with the annual membership campaign.
SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES
- Skills in nonprofit fundraising, public speaking, public relations, marketing, and group facilitation are highly desirable.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations, write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Experience with integrated databases such as AkoyaGO is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Outstanding professional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.

- Working conditions are generally in an office environment. Occasional physical exertion, such as lifting, standing, bending, or reaching, is required.
- Must be able to travel regularly in the identified region, periodically throughout Idaho and occasionally outside the state.
