Job Summary

Under the direction of the II Academic Services Manager (ASM), the Academic Advising & Curriculum Lead has wide-ranging responsibilities to support the ASM and the II faculty directors in planning, tracking, supporting, and delivering academic advising, student support, and curricular management for the II's undergraduate and graduate academic programs.

Who We Are

The University of Michigan's International Institute (II) stimulates research and teaching on critical areas of the world and on international issues that cut across world regions and disciplines. The II's 16 centers and programs rank amongst the nation's finest in their respective fields of study and bring together faculty experts from across the U-M campus. The II is home to four undergraduate majors, four minors, five graduate certificates, and one graduate program with six unique specializations. Each year, the II and its centers distribute over $4 million to U-M faculty and students, resulting in approximately 500 awards for international study and research. These awards promote global understanding across the campus and help build connections with intellectuals and institutions worldwide.

Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes.

Additional Information

The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $61,000. Please note that a higher salary may be offered based on equity and the selected candidate's experience.

This is a hybrid position with 3 days in person and 2 remote days.
